These Hands
Look at these hands, they have done many things, right and wrong, good and bad. They can also do many more things, right and wrong, good and bad. Look at these hands, these hands can do many wonderful things. These hands can reap and sow a bed and let it bloom into a beautiful garden. These hands can play extraordinary music, making those around feel peaceful and at ease. These hands can write a lovely story, or poem, or song. These hands can do many great things, wondrous things, voluptuous things. But the same hands that can do good things can also do horrid things. These hands can pilfer, steal, and rob. When clenched they can do harm of even death to another. When holding a weapon they can do even more harm and more death. Unfortunetly some have chosen to do ugly things with these hands wicked things, sick things, evil things. And still some continue to use these hands to do only good to others. I have done both and I ask God for forgiveness in my wrong and give me strength to do more good things with these hands.
